Faucet, Sink & Fixture Installation in Phoenix, AZ

We install faucets, sinks, showerheads and other fixtures in Phoenix homes, replace worn shut-off valves, and check every connection before we leave.

A new faucet or sink should work quietly for years. In Phoenix, that depends on two things: how well the connections behind the cabinet are made, and how the fixture holds up to our hard water. Desert Peak Plumbing installs faucets, sinks, showerheads and other fixtures in homes across Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Chandler.

Signs Your Faucet, Sink or Fixture Needs Replacing

Most fixtures give some warning before they fail. Watch for these signs in your kitchen and bathrooms:

  • A faucet that keeps dripping after the cartridge or washer has already been changed.
  • White or green crust that returns around the base of the spout within weeks of cleaning.
  • A sink basin with chips or cracks that hold water and stain.
  • Handles that grind, stick, or need extra force to shut off fully.
  • A showerhead spraying sideways because scale has blocked half the nozzles.
  • Water stains or soft spots on the cabinet floor under the sink.

If the cabinet floor is wet, we find the source of that leak before installing anything new.

How Phoenix Hard Water Affects Faucet and Fixture Installation

Phoenix tap water carries a heavy load of dissolved calcium and magnesium. When that water dries on chrome or sits inside a cartridge, it leaves scale behind. Over time the scale scores rubber seals, clogs aerators and locks small valves in place. Many homeowners discover that the angle stops under their sinks will not close at all on the day they want to swap a faucet. We replace seized or crusted stops and tired supply lines during the install, so your new fixture connects to parts that will still work the next time someone needs to turn them. Ceramic disc cartridges also tolerate mineral grit better than older compression washers, and we can point you toward models that suit hard water.

Housing age matters too. Older ranch homes in Phoenix and Tempe often have galvanized or early copper pipe stubbing out of the wall, while many newer houses in Chandler and Mesa use PEX. Each material takes different fittings, and we bring the right adapters so the new valve seals properly the first time.

Faucets, Sinks and Fixtures We Install

You can buy your own fixture or ask us to help you pick one. Before any work starts, we confirm it fits your counter, your valves and your drain.

What Happens During Your Fixture Installation Visit

A typical install follows the same order every time:

  1. We lay protection over your cabinet base and floor, then shut off the water.
  2. We remove the old fixture and clear away dried putty, caulk and mineral scale.
  3. We inspect the trap, tailpiece and shut-off valves and replace any that are corroded or stuck.
  4. We set the new fixture, seal it, and tighten the mounts so it stays firmly in place.
  5. We restore the water, run hot and cold, check every joint for drips, and clean up.

If the sink drains slowly once the new faucet is running, we will tell you. Slow drains usually point to buildup farther down the pipe, and our drain cleaning service clears that out.

Plumbing problems in Phoenix often connect to each other. A slow leak in the yard may point to a failing pipe, which our Water Line Repair & Replacement page covers. If your hot water runs out fast or smells odd, see Water Heater Repair & Replacement. Thinking about an upgrade? Our Tankless Water Heaters page explains costs, sizing, and what to expect with hard water.
